RTP, or Return to Player, is the percentage of all wagered money that a game is statistically designed to pay back to players over an extended period of play. For example, a slot machine with an RTP of 96% will — on average, across millions of spins — return Rp 96 for every Rp 100 wagered. The remaining 4% represents the house edge: the mathematical advantage the operator holds over the long run.
It is critical to understand that RTP is a long-term statistical average calculated across all sessions by all players, not a guarantee of individual session outcomes. A player can win significantly above RTP in a short session, just as they can lose more than the house edge suggests. Variance (or volatility) determines how frequently and how large individual payouts occur — high-variance slots pay less often but with larger wins, while low-variance games pay smaller amounts more frequently.
Understanding RTP and house edge helps you make informed choices about which games to play, how long to play, and how to calibrate your session bankroll. On rgo360, all game RTPs are provided by the original software studio (Pragmatic Play, Evolution Gaming, Microgaming, Spribe, Pocket Games Soft) and are independently audited for fairness.
As a general rule: the higher the RTP, the lower the house edge. Table games like blackjack typically offer the lowest house edge of any casino game — sometimes below 0.5% with optimal strategy — making them the most player-favourable option available. Always choose games that align with your risk appetite and bankroll.
